The CHOTA 2 from TAMBU offers the same comfort as the CHOTA 1 – but with more space and flexibility. Ideal for two people or anyone who appreciates a little more room for themselves and their gear on trekking, bikepacking, or motorcycle tours.
The two side entrances allow for particularly comfortable entry from both sides and increase everyday flexibility. One side also features a small, protected storage area, ideal for stowing shoes or equipment.
The external aluminum pole system ensures quick setup and helps keep the inner tent as dry as possible even when setting it up in the rain. Short poles at the corners further increase space in the head and foot areas, creating a comfortable sense of roominess.
The inner tent measures approximately 230 × 135 × 95 cm (L × W × H) and offers ample space for two people. The outer dimensions are approximately 260 × 215 × 100 cm (L × W × H), with the design sloping slightly towards the feet at the back – for an aerodynamic silhouette and good wind stability.
The flysheet and floor, made of robust rPET polyester, are equipped with a PU coating and offer a water column of approx. 3000 mm (flysheet) and 5000 mm (floor), respectively. Ventilation openings support a pleasant climate inside.
With a weight of approx. 2.4 kg and a pack size of about 48 × 16 × 16 cm, the CHOTA 2 remains portable and is ideal for mobile adventures.
The Black-Coating significantly reduces light incidence, minimizes heat build-up, and ensures a pleasantly darkened sleeping climate – perfect for longer nights and relaxed mornings on the go.
Like all TAMBU tents, the CHOTA 2 is made from recycled polyester from PET bottles, is PFC-free, and was developed for long-lasting outdoor adventures.
