With external dimensions of approximately 340 × 190 × 125 cm (L × W × H), the AKASA 3 offers a sheltered sleeping area and an extended vestibule that provides additional storage space for backpacks, shoes, or camping equipment. Thanks to its low profile, the tent remains particularly wind and storm resistant – a clear advantage in changing weather conditions.
The sleeping area has interior dimensions of approximately 210 × 180 × 120 cm and is equipped with a permanently integrated PE floor. This provides reliable protection against moisture, dirt, and insects. The anteroom does not have a permanently sewn-in floor, allowing for flexible use and the option of adding a removable groundsheet if needed.
Large mosquito nets, a breathable inner tent, and ventilation openings in the roof ensure a pleasant interior climate. This keeps the tent well-ventilated even on warm nights while providing reliable insect protection. A lamp hook and cable entry point offer added convenience at the campsite or festival grounds.
Made from 100% recycled rPET polyester derived from PET bottles for the flysheet, inner tent, and stuff sack, the AKASA 3, like all TAMBU tents, represents responsible outdoor equipment. The flysheet with a 2,000 mm hydrostatic head, robust 8.5 mm fiberglass poles, and reflective guy lines ensure stability and safety.
Despite its features, the tent remains pleasantly portable: With a weight of approximately 5.4 kg and a compact pack size of approximately 68 × 19 × 19 cm, the AKASA 3 can be easily stored and taken along.
