Minimalist, lightweight, and reduced to the essentials – the EKATI by TAMBU is an ultralight bivouac trekking tent for anyone who wants to be flexible outdoors. Weighing only approx. 1.8 kg and with a compact pack size of about 57 × 11 × 11 cm, this tent is ideal for trekking tours, bikepacking, or minimalist micro-adventures.
The classic ridge tent construction ensures a stable, aerodynamic shape while creating a protected sleeping area for two people. With external dimensions of approx. 215 × 120 × 100/70 cm (L × W × H), the EKATI offers a comfortably higher sitting height in the entrance area, while the flatter foot end saves weight and improves wind stability. The tent is set up using two included poles – one at the entrance and one at the rear – giving it its characteristic, reduced silhouette with a slightly covered entrance.
The outer material, inner tent, and stuff sack are made from recycled polyester from PET bottles and are – like all TAMBU tents – PFC-free. Both the outer tent and the groundsheet have a water column of approx. 2000 mm, offering reliable protection in changeable conditions. Integrated ventilation openings and mosquito nets support a pleasant climate inside while keeping insects out. The reduced design makes the EKATI the ideal choice for anyone who wants to save weight without sacrificing thoughtful details.
TAMBU – connect to nature.
