The HAIKA 3 is a compact and uncomplicated 3-person dome tent that can be pitched and taken down particularly quickly thanks to its simple design. With its moderate weight and space-saving pack size, it is ideal for camping holidays, weekend trips, hikes, or festival visits where a little extra space is needed.
The outer tent measures approximately 300 × 190 × 125 cm (L × W × H) and offers a sheltered entrance and vestibule at the front. A separate groundsheet for the front area is included, significantly increasing the usable space. This allows shoes, backpacks, or equipment to be stored cleanly and dryly, while keeping the sleeping area clear and tidy.
The entrance door of the outer tent can be completely rolled up to the side and secured, allowing for comfortable access and an open, airy use of the entrance area.
The sleeping cabin offers interior dimensions of approximately 210 × 180 × 120 cm (L × W × H) and sufficient space for up to three people. The classic dome shape creates a comfortable use of space with good headroom in the entrance area. Inside the tent, there are practical pockets for small items and a ceiling hook for a lamp.
The inner door features mesh fabric in the upper section, while the lower section is solid. This allows for good ventilation without sacrificing privacy or protection from drafts. Additionally, the inner tent has a convenient cable port, allowing you to neatly route accessories such as a power source, power bank, or lamp inside the tent.
The roof area of the outer tent incorporates two permanently protected ventilation openings. These ensure continuous air exchange even in rain and effectively reduce condensation.
The outer and inner tents are made from recycled polyester produced from used PET bottles. The outer tent has a PU coating (2,000 mm water column) and offers reliable protection in changing weather conditions. The robust PE groundsheet reliably protects against rising damp. All materials are PFC-free and therefore more environmentally friendly than conventional coatings.
Weighing approximately 4.4 kg and with packed dimensions of approximately 54 × 17 × 17 cm, the HAIKA 3 is easy to transport. The sturdy fiberglass frame ensures stability and makes assembly particularly straightforward.
