The KALO 3 is a comfortable and functional 3-person tunnel tent, specially designed for restful sleep and protected storage space. Its combination of a compact design, dark sleeping compartment, and practical vestibule makes it ideal for camping holidays, weekend trips, or short outdoor adventures for up to three people.
The outer tent measures approximately 200 × 310 × 130/90 cm (L × W × H) and features a sheltered vestibule at the front. This is ideal for storing luggage, shoes, or camping equipment. A separate groundsheet in the vestibule provides additional protection against dirt and moisture, ensuring that the sleeping area remains clean and uncluttered.
The sleeping cabin offers interior dimensions of approximately 210 × 180 × 120/80 cm (L × W × H) and features an extra-dark Black-Sky coating. This significantly reduces light penetration, creating particularly pleasant conditions for longer, more restful sleep – even in the morning or on bright campsites. The tunnel design ensures efficient use of space with good freedom of movement in the entrance area.
The inner tent features integrated mesh panels that ensure good air circulation while reliably protecting against insects. Additional ventilation openings in the outer tent further promote continuous air exchange and help reduce condensation. A ceiling hook for a lamp inside the inner tent makes it easy to use lighting in the evening.
The outer and inner tents are made from recycled polyester produced from used PET bottles. The outer tent features a PU coating with a 3,000 mm water column rating and a dark inner lining, providing reliable weather protection. The robust PE groundsheet effectively prevents rising damp. All materials are PFC-free.
Weighing approximately 5 kg and with packed dimensions of approximately 53 × 18 × 18 cm, the KALO 3 remains easily transportable despite its features. The sturdy fiberglass frame ensures stability and straightforward assembly.
