The KUTIR 2.1 by TAMBU is the consistent further development of the previous KUTIR models – lighter, more sophisticated, and perfectly tuned for modern trekking and bikepacking tours. With its sleek single-arch construction, it combines low weight with high stability and an aerodynamic shape that provides reliable protection outdoors.
With interior dimensions of approx. 230 × 120 × 90 cm (L × W × H), the tent offers space for two people, while the flysheet, measuring approx. 260 × 130 × 100 cm (L × W × H), creates additional protection from wind and weather. Its low-profile design ensures stability even in stronger gusts – ideal for minimalist tours with a backpack, bike, or motorcycle.
Weighing approx. 1.9 kg and with a compact pack size of approx. 43 × 13 × 13 cm, the KUTIR 2.1 remains pleasantly portable and fits easily into a backpack or gear roll.
Setup is quick and straightforward via a central aluminum pole arch. Four integrated pitching points in the inner tent at the corners support the stable shape and create more usable space inside. The entrance combines an outer door with mosquito netting and can be guyed out, creating a small sheltered area.
The KUTIR 2.1 proves particularly flexible in warm weather: The inner tent consists mostly of fine-mesh netting and can be used without the flysheet in dry conditions. This allows you to enjoy maximum ventilation and an unobstructed view of the sky, while remaining reliably protected from insects.
The flysheet, inner tent, and floor are made from recycled rPET polyester. The ripstop flysheet with PU coating (3000 mm water column) reliably protects against rain, while the floor with 5000 mm repels moisture. All materials are PFC-free and stand for TAMBU's commitment to durability.
