The bivouac sack measures approximately 220 × 80/50 cm (L × W) and is cut in a classic mummy shape. This shape fits snugly around the sleeping bag, minimizing heat loss and providing reliable protection from wind and rain. At the same time, it allows sufficient freedom of movement for a restful night under the open sky.
The outer material is made of recycled nylon with a PU coating and a water column rating of approximately 8,000 mm. The silver-coated inner lining reflects body heat and contributes to a noticeable increase in the sleeping bag's insulation performance – by more than 5 °C, depending on the sleeping bag and usage conditions. This makes the MARI particularly suitable for cool nights and changeable weather.
By eliminating unnecessary components, the bivouac sack remains deliberately minimalist and functional. The robust material reliably protects against external moisture and ground dampness, while the design is specifically optimized for low weight and high packability.
Weighing approximately 0.45 kg and with a very compact pack size of approximately 18 × 9 × 9 cm, the MARI can be easily stowed in a backpack. This makes it ideal for solo tours, emergency bivouacs, or any outdoor adventure where every gram counts. All materials used are PFC-free.
