The MAYA groundsheet from TAMBU reliably protects your tent from dirt, moisture, and sharp surfaces. Originally designed for the BINODANA trekking tent, its rectangular shape and generous dimensions make it universally compatible with other tents.
Measuring approximately 210 × 150 cm, the MAYA is ideal as a protective base under the tent floor. It prevents direct contact with the ground, reduces abrasion, and thus extends the lifespan of your tent – especially with frequent use on stony or damp ground.
The robust groundsheet material, made from recycled rPET Oxford polyester (150D), is PU-coated, water-repellent, and offers reliable protection against rising damp with a 1,500 mm water column rating. The integrated eyelets at the corners allow for easy securing to the ground and help to precisely position the groundsheet before pitching the tent – so you can quickly find the perfect spot without having to move the entire tent multiple times.
Weighing only about 350 g and with a compact pack size of about 22 × 6 × 6 cm, the MAYA groundsheet can be stored in a space-saving manner in a backpack or pack sack and is the ideal companion for trekking, bikepacking and camping tours.
