The NIHAITA from TAMBU is a well-designed family tunnel tent for camping holidays, extended stays at campsites, or weekends with friends. Thanks to its pre-bent Dura-Fiberglass poles, the tent offers comfortable standing height and is approximately 30% stronger than classic fiberglass constructions.
With generous exterior dimensions of approximately 415 × 320 × 200 cm (L × W × H), the NIHAITA offers plenty of living space. The interior features a large sleeping cabin measuring approximately 210 × 300 × 190 cm, accommodating up to 5 people. This sleeping cabin can be flexibly divided using a removable partition – ideal for families or when more privacy is desired.
The front living area provides additional space for sitting, changing clothes, or storing luggage. A permanently integrated awning above the large front entrance offers protection from sun and rain. The tinted TPU windows let in daylight, provide a clear view outside, and simultaneously protect against unwanted views inside.
For a comfortable interior climate, the tent features ventilation openings in the lower part of the sleeping compartment, large mesh doors, and a large rear vent. The sewn-in groundsheet reliably protects against moisture, dirt, and insects, making the NIHAITA particularly suitable for everyday use at the campsite.
Practical details such as reflective guy lines and elements increase safety in the dark and make it easier to find your way around the tent. Multiple ceiling hooks for lamps and cable openings allow you to use camping lamps or electricity inside the tent – ideal for longer stays.
Despite its size, the tent remains easy to handle: With a weight of approximately 17.9 kg and a pack size of approximately 75 × 35 × 35 cm, the NIHAITA can be easily transported and stored in the included stuff sack.
Made from recycled rPET polyester, with a 3000 mm water column for the outer tent, a firmly sewn-in PE groundsheet and PFC-free finish, the NIHAITA, like all TAMBU tents, stands for durable materials and responsible outdoor equipment.
