The ROBI 2 from TAMBU is an ultralight 2-person tent for anyone who wants to travel with minimal luggage and maximum freedom of movement – whether on foot, by bicycle, or by motorcycle. With a total weight of only approximately 1.7 kg including the stuff sack and a compact packed size of approximately 44 × 11 × 11 cm, the tent can be easily stowed in a backpack or luggage compartment and is ideal for mobile tours.
The single-wall construction allows for particularly quick and easy setup. The side entrance with its large mosquito net ensures convenient access and reliably keeps insects out. Two integrated permanent vents support air circulation inside the tent and create a pleasant climate – especially on warm summer nights.
The ROBI 2 is deliberately designed for minimalist use. The sleeping area measures approximately 210 cm in length and offers a width of about 120 cm at the head, tapering to approximately 110 cm at the foot. The tent height slopes down aerodynamically – from around 80 cm at the head to about 50 cm at the rear. This low profile reduces the surface area exposed to wind, increases stability, and also contributes to the low weight.
The groundsheet and flysheet are made of recycled polyester (rPET) with a 2,000 mm hydrostatic head, offering reliable protection in changing weather conditions. The fiberglass poles ensure a stable construction while remaining easy to handle. Like all TAMBU products, the ROBI 2 is PFC-free and represents sustainable camping without unnecessary waste.
