The SADA 2 is a lightweight and well-designed 2-person tunnel tent. Its compact construction, spacious vestibule, and relatively low weight make it ideal for trekking tours, bikepacking, or mobile camping adventures. Despite its size, it remains manageable and easy to transport.
The outer tent measures approximately 400 × 150 × 110 cm (L × W × H) and offers a spacious, sheltered vestibule at the front. This is ideal for storing backpacks, shoes, or other equipment, keeping the sleeping area clear, clean, and dry. The tunnel construction creates a clear division of space with ample storage.
The sleeping cabin offers interior dimensions of approximately 225 × 135 × 100 cm (L × W × H) and provides ample space for two people. Its elongated shape ensures efficient use of space and comfortable freedom of movement in the sleeping area. The inner tent features practical hanging options and storage space for smaller items.
The SADA 2 features two opposing entrances, allowing for comfortable entry and exit while significantly improving ventilation. Additionally, permanently protected ventilation openings with spacers are integrated at the front and rear, ensuring continuous air exchange even when the tent is closed and reducing condensation.
The outer and inner tents are made from recycled polyester produced from used PET bottles. The outer tent has a silicone coating that provides high tear resistance, improved water resistance, and increased UV stability. At the same time, the material remains flexible and durable. The groundsheet, with a 5,000 mm hydrostatic head, reliably protects against rising damp. All materials are PFC-free.
A special feature of the SADA 2 is its undyed outer material, which requires no additional dyes. This saves resources during production – a conscious step towards sustainability for TAMBU tents.
Weighing approximately 3.6 kg and with packed dimensions of approximately 49 × 17 × 17 cm, the SADA 2 remains easily transportable despite its tunnel design. The sturdy aluminum frame ensures stability and reliable setup even in changing weather conditions.
