The SURANGA 2.0 is a lightweight trekking tunnel tent for those who value a compact pack size, low weight, and reliable functionality on hiking and trekking tours. The well-designed tunnel construction offers space for up to two people and is ideal for mobile adventures on foot, by bicycle, or by motorcycle.
With external dimensions of approximately 240 × 155 × 110 cm (L × W × H), the SURANGA 2.0 remains compact and space-saving, yet still offers ample room for a comfortable sleeping area. The sleeping cabin measures approximately 225 × 135 × 90 cm and is ideally suited for two people. The tent's shape, which narrows towards the rear, reduces material usage and weight, and contributes to the tent's wind stability.
The outer tent is made from recycled ripstop polyester derived from PET bottles and features a 3,000 mm water column rating and UV protection of 50+. The robust groundsheet, also made from recycled polyester, offers reliable protection against moisture with a 5,000 mm water column rating. All materials are PFC-free and consistently reflect the sustainable approach of TAMBU trekking tents.
Two permanent side vents ensure continuous ventilation of the sleeping area. The side entrance provides easy access to the tent. Inside, there is a ceiling hook for a lamp and a practical inner pocket for storing small items of equipment. The sleeping compartment is equipped with fine mesh fabric (mosquito net) and reliably protects against insects while allowing good air circulation.
Weighing only about 2.5 kg and with a compact pack size of approximately 45 × 15 × 15 cm, the SURANGA 2.0 can be easily transported in a backpack or motorcycle case. The lightweight, break-resistant aluminum poles ensure quick and easy setup as well as stability in changing weather conditions.
The SURANGA 2.0 is therefore the ideal companion for minimalist trekking tours where reliability, low weight and sustainability are paramount.
