The TIKONA 3 is a modular trekking dome tent for those who need more space on their trips without sacrificing low weight, flexibility, and sustainable materials. As part of the TIKONA system, the tent can be connected to another TIKONA tent using the optional TIKONA Connector – ideal for additional sleeping space, storage, or more privacy on the go.
Even when used individually, the TIKONA 3 impresses with its stable dome construction. Two opposing entrances allow for convenient access and, together with integrated ventilation openings, ensure effective air circulation inside the tent.
With external dimensions of approximately 320 × 228 × 120 cm (L × W × H), the TIKONA 3 offers ample space while maintaining a compact footprint. The sleeping cabin measures approximately 223 × 180 × 110 cm and comfortably accommodates up to three people. The dome design ensures even use of space, good headroom, and high stability in varying weather conditions.
The groundsheet, flysheet, and inner tent are made entirely from recycled polyester derived from PET bottles. The robust ripstop fabric boasts a 5,000 mm hydrostatic head rating for both the flysheet and groundsheet, providing reliable protection from moisture, high tear resistance, and a long lifespan. All materials are PFC-free. The high-quality 7001 aluminum poles ensure stability while remaining lightweight.
The sleeping cabin, made of breathable, recycled polyester, is equipped with fine mesh fabric (mosquito net) and reliably protects against insects without compromising ventilation. A ceiling hook for a lamp and practical interior details enhance comfort on extended trekking and camping trips.
Weighing approximately 3.5 kg and with a compact pack size of approximately 47 × 15 × 15 cm, the TIKONA 3 remains easily transportable despite its size. This makes the tent ideal for trekking tours on foot as well as for trips by bicycle or motorcycle, where space and weight are crucial.
In addition to the TIKONA 3, the TIKONA 2 and the matching TIKONA Connector are also available for the modular TIKONA system.
