The TIKONA Connector is a functional extension of the modular TIKONA tent system, allowing two TIKONA trekking tents to be flexibly connected. Depending on your needs, you can combine two TIKONA 2 tents, two TIKONA 3 tents, or one TIKONA 2 with one TIKONA 3. This creates additional, sheltered space – for example, as a connecting passageway, storage space, or a separate living area between the tents.
The connecting tunnel creates a weatherproof passage and meaningfully expands the spatial concept of the TIKONA series. Especially on group trekking tours, longer trips, or in changing weather conditions, the connector offers noticeably more comfort and flexibility. In combination with multiple tents and connectors, the system can be individually adapted to group size, type of tour, and space requirements.
The outer tent of the TIKONA Connector measures approximately 50 × 298 cm, and the integrated groundsheet approximately 65 × 218 cm. The generous zipper length of approximately 288 cm ensures a secure, tight connection between the tents and allows for comfortable passage. The design is engineered to seamlessly integrate with the geometry of the TIKONA 2 and TIKONA 3 tents without compromising their ventilation or stability.
The outer tent and groundsheet are made from recycled polyester derived from PET bottles and feature a PU coating with a 5,000 mm water column rating. The robust ripstop material offers reliable protection against moisture, is durable for outdoor use, and designed for longevity. All materials used are PFC-free and consistently adhere to the sustainable standards of the TAMBU product line.
Weighing only about 0.7 kg and with a compact pack size of approximately 17 × 12 × 12 cm, the TIKONA Connector remains easily transportable even with multiple modules. This makes the modular system suitable not only for trekking tours, but also for cycling trips or transport in a motorcycle case.
