The TUSARA 3 is a sustainable trekking tunnel tent for anyone seeking a balanced combination of weight, functionality, and environmental responsibility while touring, hiking, or camping. With space for up to three people, a well-designed layout, and a compact construction, the tent is ideal for trekking sites, smaller pitches, and campsites close to nature.
With external dimensions of approximately 410 × 200 × 115 cm (L × W × H), the TUSARA 3 offers a surprising amount of usable space despite its slim tunnel design. The sleeping cabin measures approximately 210 × 180 × 105 cm and provides ample sleeping space for up to three people. The adjacent vestibule, with an area of around 1.7 m², creates additional storage space for backpacks, shoes, and equipment, and clearly separates the sleeping area from the living and luggage area.
A distinctive feature is the deliberately undyed tent fabric. By foregoing dyes, water, energy, and chemicals are saved during production – a consistent step towards greater sustainability within the TAMBU tent line. The flysheet is made of recycled ripstop polyester from PET bottles and has a silicone coating. With a 3,000 mm water column, high tear resistance, and good UV resistance, the tent is reliably suitable for changeable weather conditions.
Two opposing entrances allow for easy entry and exit, and together with permanent ventilation openings, improve air circulation. The sleeping cabin, made of breathable, recycled polyester and fine mesh fabric (mosquito net), ensures a pleasant interior climate and reliable insect protection. Practical details such as interior pockets, a ceiling hook for a lamp, and an integrated clothesline enhance comfort on longer trips.
With a net weight of approximately 5.4 kg, the TUSARA 3 remains easily transportable for a full-fledged 3-person tent. Its compact packed dimensions of approximately 53 × 18 × 18 cm make it easy to stow in a backpack or vehicle. The sturdy fiberglass poles allow for quick setup in about 10–15 minutes. Aluminum tent pegs, guy lines, and clear assembly instructions are included.
